The Green Cat bakery is a family-owned cafe-bakery in Eglinton village.  We are strongly focused on high quality, freshly made food and coffee with our in-house bakery at the centre of everything we do.  This is a friendly, hard-working environment, working with a welcoming, close-knit team

We currently have vacancies for the following:

Chef

Kitchen Assistant

Kitchen Porter

This position requires flexible working over 5 days (Tues-Sat).  Unfortunately, this position IS NOT suitable for students who are only available on Saturdays.

​

Previous experience is essential, a passion for food and a knowledge of the catering environment including Hygiene regulations is also essential.

​

We are looking for the following:

A genuine interest in cooking and a passion for creating consistently high quality food.

​

Someone who will take on responsibility and contribute to the effective day to day running of the kitchen

 

An awareness of the relevant Food Safety regulations and a Basic Hygiene Level 2 certificate.  

​

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things.

​

The ability to work well within a team.
